Our volunteers are the backbone of the Chapter, with no paid positions the Chapter is 100% reliant on the contributions from the membership. The dedication, diversity and unique experiences of our volunteers and their ability to apply those attributes to maintain and improve the Chapter merit not only recognition but a standing ovation! On June 28, 2011 Edward Young passed the Chair to Felicity Withington after 3 dedicated years with the Chapter. We’d like to recognize Edward’s contributions and give him a standing ovation!
Edward started with the Vancouver Chapter in 2008 as the Treasurer and went on to help develop the cornerstones of what our Chapter is today. Edward was an integral member in launching the now very popular breakfast networking sessions. These sessions started with only one or two members and have grown into events that are now sold out! Under his leadership, the Chapter’s online presence was established and has grown immensely.
You will continue to see Edward at the breakfast networking sessions so please say hello, and thank you! And we also encourage you to introduce yourself to Felicity Withington, she can often be found hosting the downtown CPLD events and at many of the CMABC social events. Our Chapter Board page will be updated in the near future with details about the current Board. Please also feel free to Contact Us if you’re interested in volunteering.

I would like to thank Edward for his contributions and also thank Stewart Marshall. Stewart is the one who starting the breakfast networking sessions way back in the CMA office boardroom. Edward has been kind enough to take the sessions to the beautiful Vancouver Club and beyond.
Thanks for the mention Tatiana. Truth be told the success of these events is driven by the participants. Edward and I merely enabled a sense of community to form, something I am thrilled to see continue to grow.
